La rue de la Boucherie
ie the butchery street antecedently rue Le Comte, posteriorly rue Marie Harel The first Halle, already there in 1718 and demolished circa 1845, was the Halle des Boucheries, the Butchery market. There were then an about ten butchers and more than 25 tanners for almost 2000 inhabitants. The tannery industry had definitely disappeared at the end of the XVIIIth century.
